It takes 28 days for concrete to reach a 2000 psi, which is the standard for commercial concrete. But for residential driveways or sidewalks, ect. should wait at least 3 days before use. |
What types of finish are there? |
What is the difference between "cast" and "precast" concrete structures? |
Guaranteed to crack eventually. But what we do at AAA Concrete Structures we put in isolated control joints and rebar or wire mesh, in concrete to keep the crack from widening. We recommend a simple procedure to remove any cracks without ever seeing it. (Ancient chinesse secret) |
Allow a longer curing time... on flat work, mist with water, 4-5 times a day, and on real hot days, try to keep it moist all day, do this for 7 days. |
